In 2003, Jim Riswold commissioned me to create 44 Last Suppers - 42.5” x 80” serigraph prints on BFK Rives. The image was created from a paint-by-numbers paint set. Every color was printed by hand. After a color (1,2,3… and so on) was completed, the print was pulled out of the edition. 44 unique prints progressively completing the image. Prints at the end of the process went thru the press over 200 times. The video below is a compilation of each completed print. The above images from my studio and show opening.
